I hate how they say it's $4.75 a month but in the fine print it says "billed $56.99 up front for one year membership". $4.75 a month I would pay but not $56.99 up front. I can go to codeacademy.com and get the same thing for free.

Then you have to pay or put some bs on FBI or twitter for only one more lesson. Complete waste. Check out sololearn. Their tutorials are far more detailed and free.

I really really want to learn how to code. I'm a kid and at first I thought this would be a good app to learn but it has you buy premium or share it and I can't buy anything cause I'm not old enough and my parents won't buy it for me and I'm not old enough to have facebook or twitter

Great app except for two things: 1. Lots of spelling/grammatical errors - you compromise some professionalism/credibility with these little mistakes. 2. When we're told to "put the following pieces in order" and we get it wrong, there HAS to be a way for us to retry it... Other than that, great app.

Not free as lead to believe. Maybe the pro version is worth it and maybe not. If I had more time to play with to find out, I might consider it.
  • Monthly payment
