  • It works BUT

Using this app feels like riding a time machine back to the early 90s. It works, yes, but using it means a CONSTANT stream of curating and stroking it. Not a week goes by that it doesn't require some sort manual intervention, for a constant stream of ridculous issue --- manual intervention to update its list of blocked numbers, manual intervention to (yet again) give it permissions that it used to have and somehow forgot, manual intervention to (again) give it the app store password. I wanted to like it. I subscribed for three months. But at the end of the day it's just not worth the hassle. I have to ask myself why I am supporting a software vendor that doesn't seem to understand that the point of software in the 21st century is to work silently and behind the scenes, not to act as a needy tamagotchi. And so I'm out, until the developers get their act together.

I used to love this app. But on my iPhone 5s this version just doesn't work. 10 times a day it throws an error and makes the iPhone turn off call blocking. I refuse to manually reenable it every 15 min, all day long. Not sure what changed, but it's currently a total failure. PLEASE FIX!!!!!

Nomorobo has given me my day back. I started using the VoIP service which is excellent I'm and so happy to have found this cell phone app too. Sure it does not block everything, but in those cases you can just text the bad number to them. You can also SHARE CONTACT and report the number directly from your call history. The official number to text and report bad numbers to Nomorobo is (608) 371-6666 but sharing the contact is easier once it has been setup. Make sure to open the app after any updates because Nomorobo often gets turned off and you need to enable inside the settings again.

I cancelled over a month ago. Today, it bills me $1.99 again. I also get an email saying my subscription is expired. Waiting for them to bill me again next month even though I did NOT resubscribe. IT DID STOP THE ROBO CALLS, BUT IT STOPPED VALID TECH SUPPORT CALLBACKS FROM REACHING ME.
  • Absolutely the best app I've discovered!

I don't have to check to see who called since "unknown" calls go straight to voicemail. Saves an awful lot of time and distraction.
  • Was Great, Not Anymore

Developer - please fix your app! Call blocking constantly turns off either due to the app or iOS. It worked great for several months but now is practically useless. I manually enable blocking and 30 seconds later (or less) it's not enabled. Now, I've started getting an error "Can't Enable Extension". Cancelling subscription until the developer can get it corrected. When it works - I would rate it a 4 or 5 star app. All my apps and iOS are up-to-date.

Failed to stop calls for the past two weeks even though I manually updated it daily. Nice idea if it worked.
  • Poor all around

Too many problems with this app. It doesn't always keep the list up to date. The update has to be initiated manually sometimes. For some reason the phone setting to allow the app to block calls turned itself off. I'm sure I didn't do it. I had to delete and reinstall the app to even get the setting to turn back on. Lots of scam/spam calls are still getting through, especially the ones that are spoofed to the same area code/exchange. Not worth the trouble.
  • Does not work with new iPhone update!!

DO NOT GET THIS IF YOU HAVE AN IPHONE. THE APP IS NOT COMPATIBLE. * Consider yourself warned. This app is NOT compatible with the iPhone!!!

Works as advertised. After activation, I immediately stopped getting the robocalls. The only issue I see is the lack of metrics, such as number of calls blocked. Because of this, it took me a while to really trust that the app was working.
