Too expensive but good other wise

I’ve only been using it for two days now. I have the stylebook app which I also like for different reasons. I’m liking this app because it gives me outfit ideas. I’m not good at coming up with new outfits. Love that part of this app and that the outfits are recommended for my weather. 😁 I do wish they had sweatpants in their closet and also recommended flannels for layering pieces. But so far so good 👍👍
  • More basic than I hoped

I downloaded this app because I've been trying to get out of a rut and get a better sense of my personal style. I haven't experienced any bugs yet, it's an easy way to make a quick decision of what to pull out of my closet, and did help me discover a way I hadn't thought of to layer a couple of my tops, but I don't think there's enough to it to warrant paying an ongoing subscription fee. The app claims to provide expert styling, but I think it's just using a very basic algorithm to calculate every possible combination of the items I own. Not that this still can't be helpful, but it means that most of my outfits are just jeans and shirts, whereas I was hoping for help constructing more complex looks. I think integrating accessories or allowing the user to select more preferences would definitely help it feel more personalized and useful-- maybe this is the piece that would warrant a subscription. Also, the fact that it shows the temperature gives the impression that it's considering this in its recommendations, but don't think it actually is-- it keeps suggesting sandals on days with a low of 40.
  • Fun but overpriced

I enjoyed the trial of Cladwell and would have loved to keep it. It was fun putting the closet together and seeing all the outfits but I didn’t feel like it changed my life enough to spend $8/month. A little overpriced for what it does in my opinion.

I found out on my own that you have to reset the closet data each time you add new clothing to ensure they are included in the daily outfit choices.

This app is the only one I could find that doesn't try to sale me anything and in fact helps me get rid of clothes I never wear. Love it! Try it one month and your hooked. Easily worth it!

This app is wonderful! I never realized that I had 24k outfits with the clothes in my closet! Thank you. Totally worth the $8 a month to be able to wear more outfits and not have to go clothing shopping as often! I can now create capsules with ease and have outfits at the top of my fingers.
  • Improved my Mornings

This app has been really helpful in selecting outfits each day. It typically has good suggestions but will suggest exactly the same items over and over again almost daily, regardless of if you’ve logged something recently. This appears to be due to the fact that many of my clothing items “cannot be matched with other items in my wardrobe” so the app will never suggest them. I think the app needs to improve the software they are using to make outfit suggestions to include all items in one’s wardrobe. For this reason, I mainly use it to look at how it would match the shirt or pants I want to wear each day with other items in my wardrobe. As someone with a lot of clothing, I wish it was broader in selecting outfits.
  • Great App to Make Mornings Easier!

I tried this app based on an ad that I saw on Instagram. I'm glad that I did! As someone who would take at least 30 minutes to rummage around my closet, this app takes away a lot of the guess work and frustration in my morning. However, there are a few features I wish this app had: 1. Planning the week in advance. It would be great to still have the option to change outfits day-of, but it would be great to have the option to plan the week. Especially for those weeks with really early mornings! My notification is set to the earliest possible, and it doesn't work on those early early days. 2. The ability to specify a category of outfit like casual, business casual, or business. Some days, I definitely have to dress nicer than Friday casual and there have been days with few options that have popped up for this. 3. Submission of new pieces through the app. I know you can do it through the website, but I-app would be much simpler and much faster to transmit data to build the Cladwell database.
  • Too hot/cold!

I love it but it makes me wear jackets and shorts in 80 degree weather? And I know for most people 70s is nice but for me it's sweater weather. It's a great app but the weather and temperature part needs a bit of an update
