  • iPhone only

As the title suggests, it’d be great if you could make a universal app instead. I’d like to use this on iPad
  • Not what I was expecting

    By Nickybob83
Seeing how it’s called blizzard app I was expecting more than just an app for managing your friends list and chatting. Would’ve been nice to have the Blizzard shop on here along with a news tab and forums for all the games. Should be more like the Blizzard desktop app except no games obviously. A real let down Blizzard. Hopefully you make it better in the future.
  • Sluggish Receiving and Sending

I love the idea. I love the app, but I expect more out of a blizzard app. I know mobile isn’t your forte, but this app is slow to send and receive messages. The iOS will notify me a message has been received, so I’ll click on the notification. It takes me to the message within the app, but a second later the literal message presents itself within the chat window. Needs to be polished up and seem less sluggish. Edit: Also, after leaving the app, and then coming back at a later time I’m immediately being notified it’s “reconnecting...” in the chat and have to wait a few more seconds. This is really unacceptable imo.
  • Where is the Community Channels?

Nice move to improve your mobile platforms but some key features are missing! Where are the Communities?? Where are the profile customization options? Where is the Store?
  • Ok but it could be better

The app is good but to make it great a couple of changes need to be made. First I think the Authenticator app should be integrated into the mobile app. And last but most important, the mobile app should be capable of doing everything the desktop app does.

  • Useful, but could use a few improvements.

I have been long waiting for an app like this to speak to friends while away from my computer on a mobile device. It has done well for me in all areas except the cache of memory it tries to load onto an older mobile device (iphone 5S) when bringing up a chat window with a friend. If the conversation in the chat window can be limited to only loading the last 10-20 messages then it would have a greater effect on performance on older devices. The effect it has when loading all the chat conversations in the past, slows down texting and causes problems with device speed. All I would like to suggest is that an option be added in the future to clear the conversations or limit the amount that can be loaded at any given time to prevent older devices from having this issue. Overall I hope to see this app improve so I can change my current stance on it.
