  • They fixed the bug, ignore this review.

I use this app very often. I read pdfs of books with it, but the recent update makes that difficult, because the app no longer remembers where I left off. Please fix this, or at the very least explain it.

  • iPhone X Screen Burn-in Potential

    By napoi79
The Home bar does not disappear but instead remains bright white throughout use. I have a lot of PDF files that I need to use to study, but, with the potential for burn-in, I’ve turned to alternative apps.
  • Poor experience

For some reason I can't open any file from my google drive. It just shows its opening, then disappears.
  • No longer saves your place

It is maddening that the last update caused this no longer to save your place. Everry time I open the app it goes back to the place from when the last update was installed. I have hundreds of documents and if it does not remember where I was for each one it's pretty much useless.
  • not good

He does not stand at the page where I stopped, and brings me back to the book cover page! Why
  • Useful but lacking

    By Blue8haze
I use this a lot to mark up PDFs but there a few UI improvements needed. Needs an erase tool to remove free hand marks, needs a setting to only recognize Apple Pencil to avoid stray marks, needs the ability to choose thickness and color before starting to draw (this is available on my Note 8 but not iPad version). Ability to separate out individual pages would also be helpful as would the ability to rotate pages. Saving back to google drive should be as easy as saving back to Dropbox. I think there needs to be a Pro version and Reader version just like on desktops. There is no reason why the iPad Pro can’t handle a pro version.
  • Good, but could be better

I would love the drag and drop functionality to be added; this would making moving PDFs to folders an easier experience. Instead of having PDFs being automatically downloaded to the “Local” section, I wish we could choose where they are initially downloaded, such as the Document Cloud since that is the only place I have my PDFs. When I mark or highlight PDFs, the changes are not syncing between my iPhone and iPad (I am not uploading any PDFs to a third party app; I’m only saving everything in the Document Cloud). I wish we could have the option to hide extension names (and the upload date and the file size). Everything I upload is in PDF format and I don’t need to be reminded of the format in every title. I’d also love a dark mode option. Update: Uploading PDFs to the Document Cloud takes forever. I have a 200-page PDF (43MB) that has been uploading to the Document Cloud for an hour now. An hour.
