  • Missing Calendar Sets

Fantastical for Mac revolutionized the way I use my calendars, and Calendar Sets is a solid half of this equation. The fact that it's missing from the iPhone app is greatly disappointing.

One of the few apps well worth the money. Use it on all of my Apples devices and will never go back to the stock apps! Wish it had a better icon tho.

I never knew that a calendar app could be so easy. It is a pleasure to use. I am impressed that it accepts voice commands so effortlessly. Being a 77-year-old super senior, I forget easily. But with this app I can schedule my time and remember things more frequently and effectively. Great job guys and girls
  • LOVE this app, only one issue

I’ve been using Fantastical for a few months, and it’s great. The interface is clean, it’s easy to look at events in different ways, and it’s a lot more user friendly (user-friendlier?) than the native Calendar app. My one complaint is that when I tell it to send me an alert for an event, it doesn’t do anything (hence the 4 stars vs 5). I’ve gone to setting alarms for events, which works for some things but not others. Hopefully there’s a fix for this but I would still recommend the app!
  • What happened?

I used to absolutely love this calendar! However, recently adding new, repeating events has become a hassle. I would add the new event and it wouldn’t show up. So, I would restart the program and the recently added event would sometimes show up and when it did it was on everyday! Makes me sad. This calendar was the best.
  • One thing would make this PERFECT

First of all, I LOVE this app. As someone who is very scheduled and routine-oriented, it is unrivaled. I would LOVE to be able to reorder events. I use this app as my calendar of events but also my to-do list. It would be very nice to be able to prioritize events during this day. Right now, I list them as “all day events” and delete them as I complete them, but it would be ice to be able to prioritize or reorder as well.
  • Ugly and barely works

The design is more in line with a Windows product than what you get with Apple and good luck trying to subscribe to your Facebook events. Worthless.
  • Keeps crashing

I love this app, but in the last month it has been crashing with iOS 11.2.2. Please fix!
  • Really good, but not great

Easily worth 4 stars and the money paid, although $50 for the Mac version is steep. That said, it’s well made, simple and elegant. The search feature is one of the best I’ve ever used in any type of app. It’s thorough and quick. The duplicate, move and copy with a long tap feature is terrific and should be implemented by every calendar developer. The only downside (for me) with this app is the limited calendar views - I’d prefer a day view, and a more focused month view. I’d also like the ability to turn natural speech for event entry off. Sometimes the algorithm gets in the way based on how I type. For instance, sometimes I want to name an event, “Lunch at John’s”. Fantastical names this event “Lunch” and adds “John’s” as the location. That works, but isn’t really what I want, so I either have to change the way I enter information, live with it or do extra work to get it how I want. I also wish there was a feature to set the app to switch between light and dark mode at certain times. I like light mode during the day and dark mode at night. Therefore, it would be great to be able to set times for the mode to change - say from 7 am to 8 pm light mode and 8 pm to 7 am dark mode. An excellent overall app though.
  • Live & die by my calendar. But without “time to leave” alert, I have to pass.

I’ve heard SO much positive about this app. I bought it, and began to set it up to use. But I realized that it does not have “time to leave” alerts. And without those, my life would just not work. So... fantastical2... am I missing this feature? Is it hidden in there? Cause otherwise, I’ll wait to switch until you get it.
