I am an oboist, clarinetist, trombonist, and a bassoonist. I chose the music option on my wheel and wanted to possible polish my oboe skills. It asked what experience do I have in music, but this game only gave me the choice of saying I knew or want to learn how to play the guitar, drums, singing, how to read music, or that i wish to create electronic music.

Yes there's a paid version- but it warns you before you go too far on a section. It's pretty easy to use and stay on the free side . . . Other people rating this as one star just aren't paying attention to all the free stuff.
  • Great app. Mentally stimulating

I enjoy the Curious app in the morning like when I used to read the newspaper every morning. Lots of interesting information and articles I learn things I never knew about every day.

I just want to say this is a great app. I use it everyday.
  • Good, but limited version feels a little too limited.

From what I've seen, it seems to be pretty informative, but because I don't buy things unless I know what I'm getting, I have not bought this yet. The free limited version only allows you 8 points a day, and a large percentage of the lessons are well over that. I recommend that they give the free limited edition a little more room to actually test out different lessons, perhaps one really expensive one per week or something along those lines. Then people could actually get a sense of what they are buying into instead of watching small YouTube videos that they could look up themselves.

I went through every step of registration just to find out this is not free. Is it just something I didn't read in the description that I just missed? Maybe so.
