I chanced after I watched part of a movie and canceled right away and now I have been billed for a month. Please remove me and return my money. Thank you
  • Clueless development team

App is not great but what really is bad is the tie between various platforms. THERE IS NONE. The selections on one platform are different than each of the other platforms. Save your money and pick something else.

Just get a black screen right now with no episodes.
  • More like A-bomb

The programming is great. Wish I could've watched it but after purchasing subscription through iTunes, I logged in and Acorn crashed in the middle of first outing. When I reloaded app I had to sign in again and that's where the problems started. Maybe the error messages are in a parlance that makes sense in the UK but to me were unfathomable. Regardless, my log-in kept getting booted out. Deleted app and reinstalled but error msg stayed. Regular user of all the usual subscription apps and never experienced such a circular vortex of non-results. That's when I checked the reviews and got the gist: app not ready for prime time. Hopefully soon.
  • Worst ever

Update: still the worst app in history of apps Won't even let me sign in. Says to check my internet connection and try again. Bunch of morons in their IT dept!
  • So frustrating!

I have happily been a subscriber through iTunes for several years and had NO problems. BUT these past two months, I have tried to access my programs and get the message that my subscription has expired even though iTunes shows me current on my payments. I have tried to contact Apple, Acorn, and tried deleting the app, downloading it fresh and briefly getting my shows only to have the exact same message come up when I try to access the site. To send a request for help to Acorn gets an immediate email response of acknowledgement, but NOTHING ever seems to go beyond the acknowledgement.

  • This App is Crap. Don’t Waste Your Time

Acorn TV needs to hire a better App Developer!!!! Could not get past the start up screen. Either the app would crash or I would get a message stating that I needed to check my internet connection. We have 75M BPS FiOS for goodness sakes!!! So since this app is utter CRAP, I subscribed for the trial through my Amazon Prime Service and I use the Amazon Prime Video App that I already have on my iPhone. Additional aggravation is that online Acorn TV offers $4.99 per month after trial, but Amazon notified me that after the trial, the cost will be $6.99.
  • Doesn’t know I’m subscribed, but taking my money

I subscribed. But on Apple TV and iPad, same problem. I’ll click on a video and it will tell me I’m not subscribed. So I click subscribe. Then it tells me I’m already subscribed. So there’s no way to watch a video because I’m not, or am, or maybe not, subscribed (I am). On Apple TV it just takes me back to the main menu so I can happily repeat the process. They seem perfectly happy though to charge me for the privilege of clicking around on their apps. Will be getting a refund.
  • Great content poor App

There needs to be a recently watched category with the next episode queued up. Just like Netflix The great content barely compensates the horrible navigation menu.
