  • 30 second refresh on market ruined the game

    By Sophie26773389:
UPDATE: they deleted my save game so I have to start over. No thanks New update just ruined the game by making you wait 30 seconds to refresh the market and see new items. It was difficult finding what you wanted before but now it's impossible. There's no search, so you just have to hope the 20 items people are selling is something you need. There are hundreds of items, probably thousands, and without a search feature it's like going to ebay and just hoping whatever is on the front of ebay is something you want to buy, but now you have to wait 30 seconds before you can refresh the page. It's impossible. Oh and good luck buying items to increase your storage now. I'm glad I was able to upgrade to 190 before this update because it would be completely impossible now since no one can build parts to increase storage. It would take several minutes to find the 30+ parts to upgrade to 190 before, now with this update it would take days.
  • Recent combat update is TRASH

    By XFactorFanNDenver
Used to love this game, but the most recent addition of club wars has ruined it. I never played this game for a MP combat experience, but for the building aspect (used to play the original back in the day). There is no way to opt out from the wars, so if you want to focus on challenges you can't. Finally, all the war stuff crowds out other aspects of the game. They take over your city storage and you have less space to store items for challenges... AND war-related tasks have started showing up IN the challenges!!! It's absolutely the BIGGEST FAIL I've ever seen in a computer game and if they don't fix it soon I'll be out.
  • I like it but my buildings keep catching on fire!

    By Shannon Okin
It’s a great game but I built a ton of fire stations and my buildings still catch on fire all the time😭😭😭
  • Wars ruined trade center

    By kjohanb
Ever since wars started, items that used to be readily available at the global trade center are no longer. All you can ever find in the trade center are burgers and burgers and more burgers. Nobody is willing to sell anything else, because everyone is just making their own goods since everything now has value, whether to repair disasters or in the war deliveries. So the scarcity / lack of diversity of resources in the trade market makes it impossible to find anything in a pinch. Unless you want another burger. Sheesh. I’ve played for over a year and this really constrains ability to compete in COM. There is an easy fix — display more options in the trade center, eg show thirty options instead of twenty; or refresh every ten seconds rather than every thirty. But right now, I am stuck refreshing every thirty seconds and seeing 90% burgers. Seems like people have no incentive to ever sell anything else.
  • I used to love it

    By Lightstorm5
Hey, Sim City is awesome, but I recently downloaded it again, and now it says it timed out after a second, saying my player ID is 0. Please fix this, from a Sim City player
  • A game for me to poop on

    By Moofaloopdadoop
An old complaint I never voiced: what is the point of refreshing a task during a building upgrade if it gives you the same exact items to fulfill after refreshing? Where's the logic in that? I already can't fulfill that task. You just plain hate your players. I'm not a fan of war games and even this game I'm obsessed with cannot change that. Still, it tries to drag me into the new "war" feature by making the only high-point Contest of Mayor assignments war-related. This, of course, adversely affects the overall COM score since I am ignoring those assignments. Basically, the war update handicaps players who choose not to join in on the bogus war games. This is sim city, not an age of clash of the empires of the clans clone. I suggest adding the option to completely opt out of war in order to avoid receiving war-related assignments in the COM. And make the river boats move around lakes and rivers. The paddle wheels move but the boat is stationary. The heck? This game is a source of stress after you reach a certain level but the club challenges are a nice way to make up for the complete sham that contest of mayors is. The only problem with the club challenge is you still have to compete in the COM to accomplish anything. Contest of Mayors: (updated 08/28/2017) Since the contests are based on whoever spends money to win, it's not a true, fair or REAL contest, as some players have advantages (real money) over others. Lame. There is only one strategy that wins: do assignments that give 3k in points. The game conveniently offers predominantly sub-2k point assignments for your continued diminishing pleasure. There is little strategy needed to win these contests, mainly luck and real money are needed. EA, Stop calling it a "contest" because it's really a wolf in sheep skin coaxing money from our wallets. Alerts: (still applies as of 08/28/2017) They're ruining the game experience. I already know how to build factories and have proven it by building factories. Why does the game keep wanting to show me how to build factories?! That's just one of the alerts that are super off-putting. The worst one is the daily sim cash alert. After mine ended, the alerts to renew are twice a minute. If I have to be spammed to renew every time daily sim cash ends, that makes me not ever want to renew. Even worse, it makes me not want to play the game at all. It's that bad. You should create a way to end all alerts. I'm not talking about notifications while the game is not running, I'm talking about in-game alerts. Kill those, or create the option to. I can only take so much before I'm over dismissing those annoying and pointless things.
  • Not enough neo money

    By mariahdeterra
Taxes that you make off the neo zones, you should be more and when you upgrade instead of getting coins you should get neo money.
  • Awesome !!!

    By Brunei simcity
This game is really cool! But when is the new updates ?
  • Not good!

    By Ricklepickle12
The same old thing...over and over.... I downloaded this game last year. Deleted it and got an itch to redownload it and start from scratch. I must say the updates were “ok”. However the game repeats itself! All the cities look the same..same landscape and layout. How about provide some cityscapes in a desert, forest, hilly area, or in an attic tundra or where ever! The cities all too much look alike. Add a weather feature that would allow individual custom cities to experience! Add MORE of a variety on buildings. There are still tons of missing landmarks. The themes available are PATHETIC! Two or three pieces only? Give me a break. We are still missing museums, shopping malls, actual city decor, theme parks!!! Finally you run out of land. You can only expand so much. I increased my land all the way, had just about every building and was board. By the way, that contest of mayors is really boring and lame.
