  • Life changing app!

    By @onestoneart
I've been playing guitar on and off for a total of maybe 2 years before using Yousician, so I was halfway familiar with lots of things, but needed more interesting exercises for myself to put it all together. But I finally caved and bought the premium edition and I'm already just about to take the level 8 exam. My goal is to complete level ten within my first month and start composing guitar tracks to accompany my visual art animations! There's a lot of things that could be improved, and this app I think is best used as a supplement to other study, but it is entirely possible to learn instruments very quickly with this app!
  • Frustrating

    By #newsgonewrong
I like the app and the songs are very helpful but whenever I try to play one it always says I’m playing at the wrong time when I know I’m not.
  • Good but a BIG problem

    By TE-NAA
I know half of the things this app is teaching me, it's just that it is placing teaching me stuff I already know because when I try to boost up my piano skills, it cannot understand half the keys I play, on any type of volume. Please fix this. It is a waste of my time and money.
  • Greedy - False advertising

They offered 1 month free trial through the app, and then they charge you at 13 days (not even two weeks). They charge for the whole YEAR, can't buy month by month. I'm angry at this.
  • Great start

    By UtahHomeBuilder
I’ve had the app for a week now and have been playing every day. Great so far. Lessons are easy to follow and I feel like I’m progressing.
  • Overrated... Teaches you how to play backup guitar

    By Lover of foreign literature
Apart from the scale and chord trainers, this app is useless for learning guitar and especially for songs. I tried learning running with the devil through this, and all I got were a bunch of funny chords played as full notes to backup the lead. I don't know how it got such good reviews😌
  • Probably great, unless you're learning the bass

    By lumenglace
This is probably a hardware issue, but it seriously has trouble registering any notes from my E string, which is a massive problem when most of the early exercises use an open E a lot. Maybe the notes are just too low for the microphone to handle well? I don't know what the app is like for other instruments, but if you're learning bass, this might not be very useful.
  • So far so good

    By Dibabee
I’ve recently started playing the ukulele but I downloaded Yousician a while ago. I do like the free daily lessons and I’m sure once I improve, I’ll probably buy the subscription. But I’m happy with the app so far.
  • Dirty

    By scornedconsumer
I’m cool with paying for an app, but taking out the payment for the year instead of installments is ridiculous. God forbid anyone forgets to cancel trial....then of course you have no way of getting a refund.....dirty
