You can't even send ONE card without paying, forget about unlimited! Yet they let you go through the whole process of choosing and making a card before that little detail becomes clear
  • Good App

Need to be able to include links in the body of the message.
  • Hallmark e-cards

In terms of concept Hallmark e-cards is a great application. It sets itself apart from other stationary applications with the ability to send e-cards from various pop culture brands or with unique messages and effects. The app goes even further giving you the chance to customize the primary and background colors as well as the text. E-cards that can be chosen range from music playing in the background to photorealistic characters moving around in sync with the card's message. The app does a good job of making it easy to browse card categories by a listing of occasions and a gallery one could go through quickly. The app also allows users to save cards to keep in mind. The process of sending a card is easy with a simple type of the recipient's e-mail address or just selecting from your address book if you choose to import them into the app after you are done customizing and writing your message. The app also has a great support category with the ability to read answers to questions you may have or contact support directly. I do have some minor quibbles with the app and that is mainly the pricing structure or how it can be interpreted. The app presents two options. One is for $1.50 a month and another is for 4.50 a month for a year. I am not sure the app allows users to pay separately for a e-card without having to modify not being charged on a regular basis. This seems unclear to me. This particular problem is more subjective but I would like the ability to shop from all of Hallmark's card collection from the app. Or at the least make select e-cards available to be customized in physical form. I think some of the selections are that good and unique to where you would want to send it to someone who does not had a computer and would want them to showcase it. It only makes sense for Hallmark to make a great e-card application but with a few tweaks I think this could become the best stationary application.
  • Doesn't Connect to Even Let Me Pay

$5 to send a card? Fine. It doesn't even complete the transaction, so I can't send the card. Useless.
  • Even if you pay

Even when you pay for this app you experience problems with cards being sent to messenger. They won't open 50% of the time. Not happy with this app and I paid for 2 yrs to save a bit of $$.

Terrible. Unuserfriendly. Getting rid of hallmark cards with money left. Not worth it

I have a one-year subscription, but because I'm sending a card on my phone, it's requiring me to pay through the app to send a card. Doesn't even rate one star in my book.
  • Great way to send a quick card.

I already subscribe to Hallmark ECards for all those times when I realize the night before that I should have gotten a card 4 days ago. I found this app and it's convenient since I'm not near my computer. The ONLY thing this app doesn't allow me to do is attach a gift card. I was planning on sending one, so I was bummed about that, but it's ok this time. I'll just have to plan better. (Hence the 4 star rating rather than a 5.)

  • Really?

At least ask to select a payment plan before writing the card. Ridiculous.
